Dr. Charlie Chi, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Chi is an engineer and business entrepreneur who founded OtisMed Corp. to address unsolved clinical problems in orthopedics. He brings more than 10 years of management, marketing, product development and consulting experience in the medical device and high technology industries to his role as chief executive officer.
Before OtisMed, Dr. Chi was a senior analyst at OnWorld Inc., where he led the company’s research and reporting on the wireless sensor market. He has also held senior engineering and management positions at companies including Thoratec Corp., Wren Technologies, Agilent Technologies, C Speed Corp. and Integrated Surgical Systems (ISS).
Dr. Ilwhan “Ben” Park, Chief Technology Officer
A mechanical engineer with more than a decade of experience in the medical device and high technology industries, Dr. Park leads all R&D and manufacturing activity for OtisMed Corp.
Dr. Park brings to OtisMed a long track record of groundbreaking medical device design advancements. He was previously the principal engineer at Integrated Surgical Systems (ISS), where he led the development of ROBODOC, the first robotic assisted knee surgery system. He holds more than 20 U.S. patents and has demonstrated expertise in CAD/CAM, rapid manufacturing, high-precision instrumentation and robotic systems.
Dr. Park has also held senior engineering and management positions at companies including Tissue Banks International, Mobigence, Integrated Construct and Celestial Software.
Dr. Wilson P. Constantine, Corporate Vice President
A seasoned business executive with more than 10 years of management experience at global medical device companies, Dr. Constantine is responsible for OtisMed’s marketing, sales, operations and finance functions.
Prior to OtisMed, Dr. Constantine was senior vice president of sales, strategic planning and new product development at Misonix Inc. Before Misonix, he was a general manager of Henry Schein Inc., where he had full P&L responsibility for the company’s $350 million Core Medical business division. Dr. Constantine has also held marketing strategy and product development positions with leading medical products suppliers, including units of and/or entities later acquired by Aesculap-B/Braun, Boston Scientific, Medtronic and Smith & Nephew.
